The Lovestruck Balladeers will play a concert of boisterous (but exquisitely executed) ragtime in a Woods Hole living room on Wednesday, February 19. The doors open at 7. Music starts at 7:30.
One hundred percent of your strongly suggested donation of $30 cash per listener goes directly to the musicians.
Please make reservations by clicking the red "Register" button above. If you have a reservation, you will learn the location of the concert by email about 24h before showtime.
The Lovestruck Balladeers is a supergroup. It plays at Ragtime Square, where Swing Street crosses Memory Lane.

There are five Balladeers - four have been to Woods Hole in other guises. The fifth, Aaron Jonah Lewis, the bearded one, has taken first prize in Bluegrass Fiddle (in 2007 and 2018) at Galax, the grandaddy of American fiddle festivals.
The other four are:
Dalton Ridenhour is one of the most exciting pianists on the NYC trad jazz scene. He's been playing ragtime in performance since he was nine years old. He's an alumnus of both Berklee (BA) and Eastman (MA) music schools. At Mona's the other night (3/26) as a member of the house band, Dalton was on fire, stunning, heart-stopping!
Jake Sanders founded the Cangelosi Cards, the band that lit the fuse of the NYC Trad Jazz explosion. One reviewer writes of an, "especially wonderful rainy evening in a dance studio where he swung like mad, Charlie Christian style, on electric guitar."
Sean Cronin, or Sean Eugene Zbegniew Cronin for long, holds down the bottom end of the Lovestruck Balladeers. He doesn't toot his own horn but he slaps a mean bass and leads his own band, Sean Cronin's Very Good, when he's not working with, well, just about everybody in the big leagues of trad jazz. One biographical sentence for Sean says he . . . "was raised on Country, trained in Classical, steeped in Punk Rock, and brought to maturity as a Jazz musician."
